Refund Policy

Last updated: July 2026

This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for bookings made through FlightAssist24. Because we are an independent travel agency and not an airline, refund eligibility is ultimately governed by the fare rules of the operating airline.

The short version: refunds are decided by the airline under its own fare rules, not by us. We will request and process any refund you're entitled to, and we'll tell you honestly what those rules allow before you book or cancel. Anyone promising a guaranteed refund regardless of fare rules is not being straight with you.

1. Airline fare rules govern refunds

Every airfare is sold under a set of fare rules set by the airline. Some fares are refundable, some are partially refundable, and many of the lowest fares are non-refundable. When you book, the agent will tell you which category your fare falls into so you know where you stand.

2. Service fees

Any service fee charged by FlightAssist24 for arranging a booking is separate from the airline's fare. Service fees are earned when the service is provided and are generally non-refundable, except where required by law or where we fail to provide the service. The agent discloses any such fee before it is charged.

3. Cancellations initiated by you

If you cancel a booking, whether any refund is due — and how much — depends on the airline's fare rules for your ticket. Non-refundable fares may still hold residual value as an airline credit for future travel, subject to the airline's terms. We'll explain what applies to your specific ticket.

4. Cancellations or changes by the airline

If an airline cancels your flight or makes a significant schedule change, you may be entitled to a refund or rebooking under that airline's policy and applicable regulations. We can help you request what you're owed and present the alternatives, but the final decision rests with the airline.

5. How to request a refund

Call (888) 217-2490 and an agent will review your booking, tell you what the fare rules allow, and submit the refund request to the airline on your behalf where eligible.

6. Processing times

Once an airline approves a refund, the time to receive it is set by the airline and your payment provider, and can range from a few days to several weeks. We'll give you any reference numbers we receive so you can follow up.

7. Contacting the airline directly

You may also pursue a refund directly with the airline using the contact details on your ticket or the airline's official website.

8. Contact
